Benedict XVI

The death of Pope Benedict XVI on December 31st 2022 is an important event, it marks the death of the seventh king in the book of the Apocalypse, chapter 17. Chapter 17 is where it is explained that the Beast, the Woman and the Whore of Babylon are of one mind, they work together against Christ and His Church. In my book, (Fatima, The Pope and America), I look into who these three are. It would appear that Pope Benedict the XVI is the Seventh King.

In 1929, the Lateran Treaty between the Vatican the the Papal States created the land locked country we now know as Vatican City. The details can be read online, and it marks the decline of the Church of Jesus Christ. It relegated the Papacy and the Hierarchy to nothing more than any other country, made subject to man. Where at one time the Kings were installed and upheld by the Church, the Church is now subject to man.

The Treaty was signed on February 11, 1929 and became effective on June 7, 1929. The treaty designated the newly established city/state, a Sacerdotal Monarchy, or a Priestly King, where the Pope is a priest and the king of the kingdom. The first Pope of this newly formed “Vatican City” was Pope Pius XI, who was elected on February 5, 1922 and began his Papacy on February 6, 1922.

The List of Popes since 1929:

  • 1st. Pope Pius XI
  • 2nd. Pope Pius XII
  • 3rd. Pope John XXIII
  • 4th. Pope Paul VI
  • 5th. Pope John Paul I
  • 6th. Pope John Paul II
  • 7th. Pope Benedict XVI

From what I can gather, the talks for the treaty began two years before the treaty was signed. Pope Benedict was born in 1927, April 16th. So the seventh king’s life spanned the entire period of the seven kings. Pope Benedict died at the age of 95, but if you factor in his age from conception, he was 96. For those that have read my above mentioned book, you know what that means. It is also important to note that Pope Benedict allegedly announced his resignation on February 11th, 2013, the anniversary of the Lateran Treaty.

[9] And here is the understanding that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, upon which the woman sitteth, and they are seven kings: [10] Five are fallen, one is, and the other is not yet come: and when he is come, he must remain a short time. [11] And the beast which was, and is not: the same also is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into destruction.

-Douay-Rheims, Chpt 17, 9-11

The sixth King is Pope John Paul II, the next (The 7th) is Pope Benedict XVI, and remember he was Pope only for seven years, “a short time”. The “eighth”, is the one that comes after is from the 7th. This is the hard one to understand, but the eighth is subject to the 7th. The implication is that there are 8 in all but one is not a king or not a Priestly King. This is Pope Francis, either he is a King and not a Priest or he is a Priest and not a King. I believe Dr. Edmund Mazz’s work, might fill in the blanks on this one. At any rate, any Catholic with eyes to see and ears to hear, knows that Francis is the Destroyer mentioned in the Book of the Apocalypse.

Should be an exciting year, 2023!

I think Pius XI was elected in 1922, not 1929 and reigned from 1922-39, dying almost exactly 17 years after his election. His successor was the great Eugenio Pacelli, Pope Pius XII (1876-1958), reign 1939-1958. Pius XI reigned as head of Vatican State 1929-39, that is true. But he was elected Pope in 1922.

I think if you look at the evidence at and you may be convinced that John XXIII thru Francis have all been antipopes. And a long interregnum with no pope is not contrary to Catholic teaching, as is explained in (They promote the error of no Baptism of Desire or of Blood but are right in almost everything else.)

“Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist. The Church will be in eclipse. The world will be in dismay.” (Our Lady of La Salette, 1846)

Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774-1824) had seen in her visions a “counterfeit church of darkness” occupying Rome at some time in the future — in an era when she also saw the priest facing the people when saying Mass.

Padre Pio “around 1960,” as Fr Gabriel Amorth, later chief exorcist of Rome, recalled, told him, “You know, Gabriele? It is Satan who has been introduced into the bosom of the Church and within a very short time will come to rule a false Church.” (Interview with Fr Amorth by José María Zavala, in The Best Kept Secret of Fatima)

“Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ.” (St Athanasius)

“Is it Tradition? Ask no more!” (St John Chrysostom)

“The apostasy of the city of Rome from the vicar of Christ and its destruction by Antichrist may be thoughts so new to many Catholics, that I think it well to recite the text of theologians of greatest repute… [e.g.] Suarez, Bellarmine and Bosius that Rome shall apostatize from the faith, drive away the Vicar of Christ and return to its ancient paganism. …Then the Church shall be scattered, driven into the wilderness, and shall be for a time, as it was in the beginning, invisible hidden in catacombs, in dens, in mountains, in lurking places; for a time it shall be swept, as it were from the face of the earth. Such is the universal testimony of the Fathers of the early Church.” (Henry Edward Cardinal Manning, The Present Crisis of the Holy See, 1861)
